The National Council for Building a Better Fiji Media Committee and the NCBBF Co-Chairs are expected to meet soon.
Head of the Technical Secretariat of the NCBBF John Samy said he was asked by the Committee members to arrange for a meeting with NCBBF Co-Chairs, Catholic Church Head Archbishop Petero Mataca and Interim Prime Minister, Frank Bainimarama, as they had concerns to raise with the two.
Samy adds the Committee want a meeting as soon as possible and he tried to arrange a meeting today but Archbishop Mataca is in the western division and the meeting may not take place today but on a later date.
The NCBBF Media Committee held a meeting on Friday morning after
Fiji Times Publisher Evan Hannah was deported and then requested a meeting with the Archbishop and Bainimarama.
When contacted for a comment on the deportation of Hannah, NCBBF Media Committee's Adi Finau Tabacaucoro, refused to comment and then referred all queries to NCBBF's Technical Secretariat Head John Samy.
