Former National and Ba goalkeeper Isikeli Seva says his son Isikeli Sevania will be a better goalkeeper than him and play for the National side in future.
17-year-old Sevanaia saved three penalties during their shootout in the Punjas Battle of the Giants semifinal against Rewa as a gallant Ba side bowed out of the tournament.
Speaking to Fijivillage after the match, Seva says he is blessed to have a son like Sevanaia and says watching his son save all those penalties has made him the proudest dad.

When asked on how he felt watching his son make those saves, an emotional Seva says it reminded him of his playing days.

Meanwhile Rewa coach Marika Rodu has heaped praise on Sevanaia and says that for a young goalkeeper to take up the challenge at a critical stage is truly commendable.
