The Prime Minister has today highlighted that the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) board is not complete as the FRU has not approached him to submit the PM's nominee to be appointed as a board member.
Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama told Fijivillage that the FRU has never made an approach to ensure that the PM's nominee is part of the board.
He questioned why this has not been done for a long period of time.
FRU Chairman Bill Gavoka who took over as Chair in May this year said he still considers himself as new to the position.
Gavoka said he is fully aware that they should have 9 board members and they are currently operating with 8 people.
He said they will make an approach in due course.
