Defending Digicel Cup champion Nadroga faces a must win situation this Saturday against Northland to stay in the hunt for a semifinal spot.

Last Saturday's 59-13 win against Ovalau is an indication that the Stallion's with all of their top players back in action are strong contenders to win a place in the last four.

Coach Esala Nauga for the first time this season had the luxury of fielding players like France based Napolioni Nalaga, Aca Ratuva, Etonia Naba, Jonetani Ralulu and Simeli Koniferedi in the side that took Ovalau apart from the opening whistle.

Nauga is likely to field the same line up and the team will be further strengthened with the inclusions of Emosi Vucago and Mosese Volavola.

Nadroga, Lautoka, Suva, Tailevu and Northland are still in the running for the three remaining semi-final spots.

Naitasiri is the only team confirmed for a spot so far.

After Saturday's results defending champion Nadroga is on second spot with 35 points, Lautoka 3rd with 34 points and Suva on 4th spot with 32 points.

Northland will host Nadroga on Saturday at Gatward Park and the match kicks-off at 3pm.
