Thousands of Muslims around the country are celebrating Eid ul Fitr today.
Muslims today end their holy month of fasting which is known as Ramadaan after the new moon was sighted last night after 7pm.
They will attend a special Eid prayer this morning and celebrate by inviting family and friends of different religions for lunch or dinner.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Shaheem from Koronivia Mosque in Nausori has stressed the need for unity in the country.
