People from all walks of life came together in the village of Nakorolevu in Namara, Tailevu, today to say goodbye to one of Fiji's best musicians, Sakiusa Bulicokocoko.

Close friends like his adopted family, the Kapena musicians, friends and relatives came in numbers to show their last respect to a musician who used to fly the Fiji flag high in the music industry not only locally, but also internationally.

One of the first people to identify the talents that Bulicokocoko had was Suva based musician Ken Jansen who believes that the Tailevu man was a class of his own with the music he played.

Interim Minister for Tourism Bernadette Rounds Ganilau said Sakiusa who was part of their family band when he started his music career brought joy to many whenever he performed.

Yaminiasi Gaunavou who sang with Bulicokocoko says that it would be hard to find a musician of his calibre.

Bulicokocoko will be laid to rest in Nakorolevu this hour.
