All Blacks fullback Mils Muliaina has announced he will leave New Zealand rugby to play in Japan next year.

It has ended months of speculation by unveiling details of his two year contract with Japanese club NTT Docomo.

The 30 year old, 94 test veteran said the decision to end a remarkable New Zealand career came down to a lifestyle choice for him and his family.

He will be in action for the Chiefs against the Blues on Saturday at 7.35pm.

Meanwhile, at 7.35pm Highlanders take on the Western Force and at 9.40pm the Rebels face the Stormers.
