Digicel Fiji Sevens playmaker Emosi Mulevoro's try which was set up by Pio Tuwai's back pass has been voted as the ‘fans favourite’ from the Dubai Sevens.

Fiji had two tries in the seven nominees, both set up by Pio Tuwai, and although Benito Masilevu's try received a lot of votes, it was Mulevoro's effort in the 44-0 semifinal defeat of New Zealand that won.

Mulevoro said he and Tuwai knew what to do at that moment.

Mulevoro said before they came out from the changing room to face New Zealand, 7s Legend Waisale Serevi had advised them on things to expect from their opponents.

Fiji will play Australia in its first pool match of the South Africa 7s at 11.28pm Saturday, France at 2.34am Sunday before facing Scotland at 6.14am Sunday.

The Fiji 7s team is expected to meet either England, Samoa or Argentina in the Cup quarterfinals.

Barring any upsets Fiji will face either New Zealand, Kenya, South Africa or Wales in the semis.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 11:39pm Sunday, the Cup semis at 3:49am Monday and the main final will be at 6:30am Monday.
