“One of the keys to success and reaching your goals is to eliminate the potential for excuses”.

That is the view of Flying Fijians assistant coach Shannon Fraser as the team aims to better their standings from the last World Cup in 2007 in France.

Fraser said the focus for the team now is to avoid turning around when things become tough and they must always move forward rather than going back.

Meanwhile the Fiji Rugby Union has submitted 75 names of overseas and local based players to the New Zealand Rugby Union for the Pacific Nations Cup and the Rugby World Cup in September.

This will be slashed down to 30 as the World Cup draws nearer.
