Police have urged motorists to be vigilant on the road and to follow simple road rules.
This comes after a 21 year old woman who was involved in an accident is admitted in hospital with serious neck and spinal injuries. The incident occurred at Valelevu, Nasinu, yesterday.
The victim was a passenger in the vehicle driven by her 23 year old husband heading towards Suva.
It is believed that the driver made a sudden "U" turn at Valelevu and collided with a police vehicle which was heading towards Nausori.
Police investigations continue.
