A 28-year-old former Fiji resident lost his life in a road-accident in Sacramento, California, early this morning.
Former Narere resident Arvind Kumar, who migrated to the US 15 years ago, was returning home after working the night shift when his motorcycle hit a car just a few meters away from his house.
His aunt, Sarojni Devi of 8 miles Nasinu, told Fijivillage that Kumar was a mechanic by profession. He had also been preparing for his wedding in a few months.
Kumar will be cremated in Sacramento.
