It’s a dream come true for 32 year old Sainiana Nacagi to finally see her daughter get the medical attention she needs.
Her daughter, 6 year old Silvia was burnt in an accident last year and her mum said that Silvia was never the same after that and now is happy that she will get her plastic surgery thanks to a visiting INTERPLAST team from Australia.
The team headed by Senior Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon Dr Simon Thomson, is in the country for a weeklong visit and has seen over 80 young patients so far.
Thomson said that this is good experience for his team as they are also providing much needed help.
The team is currently at CWM Hospital carrying out consultations and surgery and will finish their work tomorrow.
