Lautoka Police are questioning a 19 year old mother whose baby’s partly decomposed body was found in a compound yesterday.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the baby's body was discovered by a 9-year old boy who was cleaning his compound.
He alerted his family who then reported the matter to police.
A post mortem conducted revealed that the baby died due to massive blood loss.
The 19 year old woman remains in custody and is being interrogated by CID officers.
