A mother of four is calling on the interim government to provide assistance to the people of Boca Bulileka in Labasa who have no clean water to drink.
Praveen Lata who spoke on behalf of Karuna Devi said she lost a part of her house in a landslide last night and is still living in fear.
Lata said Boca which is 5 kilometers away from Labasa town is often neglected. She said people have wells which they depend on for water for their everyday use, however this flood has left them with no water as all the wells in the village are dirty. She said they also do not electricity and is requesting government officials to provide them with assistance.
