A 28 year old mother of one from Vatuwaqa appeared in court today for larceny.
Shashi Kanta pleaded guilty before Magistrate Angela Wati for stealing a rice cooker from a Suva motel.
The court heard Kanta and her partner spent a night at the motel, and upon check-out, she hid the rice cooker worth $80 in a bag.
Today she was remorseful, however, she was told to pay a $25 fine and bound over for the sum of $300 on good behaviour for 12 months.
