A total of 5 premises are under police investigations for allegedly selling liquor without a license and also selling liquor after hours.
The 5 include motels and restaurants in Suva.
A team had been formed by police who are closely monitoring these premises. The 14 member police team is expected to lay charges against those breaching the liquor act in a week’s time.
The team is also checking nightclubs on a daily basis after reports that some nightclubs are allowing under aged children inside.
