Former Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports, Apisaloe Tudreu has called for more work to be done to ensure that a national body is set up to address the link between culture and Good Governance.
Tudreu one of the panelists on Good Governance at the Pacific Youth Festival said from the very beginning it is culture that moulds people however this needs to bring forward to a national level.
He adds attempts were carried out to create a national body but nothing has eventuated.
Meanwhile, Doctor Farid Yousef from the University of Trindad and Tobago who also spoke on good governance said that it is easy to point out faults in the system but harder to find solutions.
The pacific Youth Festival continues today with workshops addressing Good Governance underway until this afternoon before a cultural night at the Vodafone Arena.
