Police in Navosa raided six farms this week and uprooted Marijuana plants with a street value of more than $3 million.

Assistant Spokesperson, Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said some villagers in Navosa also helped police carry out the raids.

Police are still looking for the owners of these six farms.

Meanwhile, a 40 year old farmer of Tavuki, Kadavu is under interrogation after officers raided his farm and uprooted marijuana plants with a street value of more than $70,000.

Police have thanked the members of the public and villagers who provided information and assisted them in carrying out the raids.
