The Uluinakau rugby sevens tournament organizers are overwhelmed with the interest shown by the local clubs.
Tournament official Alifereti Kavoa said they targetted 42 teams but now they have received 50 entries.
Kavoa added the womens competition just have five available spots left while the Indo-Fijian competition have seven teams already and they just need another 3 teams.
Wardens Gold is the defending champions after beating Sandhill last year in the final.
The Uluinakau 7s tournament will be held next Friday and Saturday.
