Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said they are waiting for more solution providers to come on board for the e-ticketing system.
While speaking at the Fiji Bus Operators Associations Annual Conference, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum stated that they want more than one solution provider.
Sayed-Khaiyum has also warned bus drivers not to turn passengers away if the bus has the e-ticketing machine installed but is not operational.
Meanwhile, Fiji Bus Operators Association is waiting for the implementation of the e-ticketing system.
President, Virendra Kewal said it will be up to the bus operators to install which e-ticketing system they want.
He said the e-ticketing system should start from schools.
