Year after year many children walk away from Tadra Kahani gaining more self esteem and confidence.
Organizers Total Event Company Manager Loretta Jackson said the impact of Tadra Kahani on students who take to stage to share issues concerning them through dance and music, is overwhelming, and many gain more confidence especially since it takes a lot of courage to perform in front of a large crowd of up to 5000 people.
Jackson said students also pick up on other skills.
The secondary schools participating in this year's Tadra Kahani include the defending champions, Rishikul Sanatan, Suva Grammar School, Ratu Kadavulevu School, Monfort Boys Town, Tavua District, Gau Secondary, Cuvu College, along with new comers Khalsa College, St Vincent, Sila Central, Tavua College, and Lomary Secondary.
The primary division includes the defending champions, Nakelo District, International Primary, Nabitu District, along with newcomers Pacific Harbour Multi cultural school, Rishikul Primary, St John Bosco Primary, Dilkusha Girls Primary and Bainivalu Primary.
Tadra Kahani will be held from the 19th to the 21st of next month at the Vodafone Arena.
