Fiji rugby should send more of its players for overseas exposure if it wants to improve its standing amongst the best in the world.

Those are the words of former Wallaby first five Elton Flately who pointed out that in order for Fiji rugby to excel, resources need to be put into the sport to enable players to be sent overseas for exposure.

Flatley said should Fiji follow the right channel they would be a force to reckon with in the rugby world.

He commended Fiji's performance at the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France.

The 38 Test cap Wallaby veteran, Flatley said Fiji has a great rugby tradition.
