More records are expected to be broken at the final day of the FMF Chow Games which kicks off this hour, with the 50m dash heats in the Under 9 girls at the Post Fiji stadium.

Three records were broken at yesterday's competition with two coming from the field event and one from the tracks.

Stella Marist student, Wilma Cagi in the under 12 girls Long Jump event set a new record of 4.74 meters while the old record was 4.55m.

The second record in the field event came in the under 10 boys Long Jump. Lomary primary School's Elasio Waqadua set a new record with a jump of 4.93 meters breaking the old record of 4.33 meters.

The third record came in the 4 x 100m relay in the Under 12 girls where Wilma Cawi helped her Suva side set a new record of 52.03 seconds, while the old record stood at 53.4 seconds.

A total of twenty-six gold medals are at stake in today's competition.

Suva leads the girls' division with 6 gold medals, 4 silver and 3 bronze, followed by Ra on 2 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.

In the boy's division, Suva leads by 6 gold and 5 silver, followed by Lautoka on 3 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze and Kadavu in third on 2 gold and 3 bronze.
