More rain is expected through out today and tomorrow as a trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the southern parts of the Fiji group.

The Nadi weather office said periods of rain heavy at times with squally thunderstorms will be experienced for most parts of the Fiji group, especially for Lau, Lomaiviti and Kadavu group, and southern Viti Levu.

As a result a flash flood warning of low lying areas remains in force.

For Navua, Suva, Nausori periods of rain and squally thunderstorms will be experienced today and tomorrow, while it is a little easier for Nadi Lautoka, Ba, Labasa and Savusavu with cloudy periods and afternoon showers forecasted for today and tomorrow.
