More pharmacies are highly likely to face suspension pending investigations against retail pharmacies in the country.
The Health Minister Doctor Neil Sharma said that so far preliminary foreclosure notices have been given to 3 pharmacies in the Suva area while two private sector pharmacists have had their registration suspended for unprofessional and unethical practices.
He said this is the strict stand of the Health Ministry as they uncover unfair trade practices and breaches of the law by retail pharmacies.
