More money has been given for the upgrading of roads.
This has been confirmed by Suva and Lami administrator Vijendra Prakash who said while he understands that roads like Brown Street and Bureta Street and others around Suva have not been repaired as quick as people would have liked, people need to know that weather conditions are delaying their work.
Meanwhile, the Delainavesi Main Road, which has been widened and graded, has worsened due to weather conditions, with deep potholes.
On this, Prakash said they are doing their best despite challenges faced.
To date, taxi drivers are even refusing to go up to Delainavesi because of its bad road conditions.
