There are more injury woes for the Chiefs ahead of their Super 14 semifinal against the Hurricanes in Hamilton tonight.

Taranaki fullback Brett Goodin has been rushed into the squad, replacing the reserve halfback David Bason who has suffered a hamstring injury.

The Chiefs are already without first choice halfback Brendon Leonard due to a hamstring injury, fellow All Black Richard Kahui who has a calf injury and prop Ben May with a knee injury.

Goodin's, who has played for Taranaki has played just one Super 14 match previously, turning out for the Hurricanes last year against the Cheetahs in South Africa.

The Chiefs versus Hurricanes match kicks off at 7:35 tonight and the second semifinal match featuring the Bulls versus Crusaders kicks off at 1am on Sunday.
