The Flying Fijians showed an improved performance in the scrum and line outs which helped them to out muscle Samoa 36-18 in the Pacific Nations cup match yesterday.
But consistency is the major area which the coaching staff will now work on.
Technical Advisor, Greg Mumm said much more improvement is needed in the upcoming matches.
Fiji ran in five tries to Dan Rawaqa, Sekonaia Kalou, Vereniki Goneva, Campese Ma’afu and Ravai Fatiaki to seal the much needed bonus point win.
Meanwhile, in another Pacific Nations cup match yesterday, Japan beat Tonga 28-27.
