Save the Children Fiji does not have funds to continue with their lunch and bus fare assistance programme for the Vatukoula students.
However, chief executive officer Chandra Shekhar said assistance in the form of stationery was provided to the students for the first term.
Shekhar also said they are liaising with their donor agencies for more funds.
Save the Children spent more than $100,000 last year to assist 732 students of 7 schools in Vatukoula following the closure of the Vatukoula Gold Mine.
