The Cruise Committee, responsible to arrange for cruise liners to visit our shores, is working with various town and city councils to uplift their image and entice further visits in the future.
Committee member Bradley Bower said a lot of effort is being put in to attract cruise ships to come to Fiji.
And with an estimated 70 cruise liners expected to visit our shores till December this year, bringing thousands of visitors and much needed revenue for our economy, Bower said they are yet to see the impact of the global financial crisis on future visits.
