More tropical cyclones are expected to be form in the region before the end of the cyclone season and the Nadi Weather office has called on people to be on standby.
Director Rajendra Prasad said the cyclones expected to force in the region are expected to indirectly affect Fiji until the cyclone season ends later this month.
There have been seven cyclones reported in the region since the start of the cyclone season in November which include Tropical Cyclone Gene.
