While majority of the consumers are applauding the Commerce Commission's decision to include certain essential food items under price control, one the country's largest manufacturer believes that more consultation should have taken place.

Flour Mills of Fiji, Chairman, Hari Punja revealed this at the Suva Chamber of Commerce meeting last night where the Trade Minister Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum was also present.

Punja said any decision by the government will have a long term effect and the recent price control issue will lead to businesses making less profits and this will affect government's bottom line.
