It has been confirmed that more tourists are coming to Fiji but they are spending lesser days which has become a major concern for the Fiji Hoteliers Association.
Association President Dixon Seeto said tourist numbers have increased but by providing discounts on room rates and the problem of tourists spending lesser days in Fiji is doing no good to the industry.
Seeto said they will put their concerns before the Interim Tourism Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum in the Fiji Tourism Forum which will start at the Sofitel Fiji Resort this morning.
