There is now more than $6 million in the Prime Minister's Rehabilitation Fund earmarked for victims of the January floods.

The Prime Minister's Office Accounts Section confirms the total amount, which is inclusive of the budget allocation for disaster management is 6 million 632 dollars.

A list of the beneficiaries of these funds has not been finalised as yet while Save the Children Fiji have already received $300,000 with 14 schools spread across the Fiji group earmarked to get $268,520.00

The Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama is yet to come up with a list of areas, towns and people that will receive this money to help rebuild their lives and infrastructure after the January floods.
