Flood waters have now gone into more than 20 houses in Korovatu Labasa after the continuous heavy rain and high tide in the last hour.
A resident Mahen Prasad says people had to flee for their lives and have taken refuge at neighbor’s houses.
Vunika resident, Vishal Nadan says some major roads leading to Labasa town like Vunika, Soasoa and Basoga area are flooded.
