The Principal of Saint Joseph Secondary School, Sister Genevieve Loo is calling on more schools to join the Earth Hour Campaign this Saturday.
Sister Genevieve said every single individual should make it their business to save the earth from the effects of green house gas emissions.
Saint Joseph will dedicate this Friday in support of Earth Hour and according to Sister Genevieve they will switch off all ceiling fans and will not use the photocopier and computers plus the compound will be throughly cleaned.
Ten other schools in the Central and Western Divisions have joined the Earth hour campaign which will see unnecessary lights switched off from 8pm to 9pm on Saturday in an effort to cut greenhouses gas emissions.
