More rainfall is needed to normalise water in Savura Reservoir.
Water Engineer Central/Eastern, Samuela Tubui has confirmed that rainfall over the last couple of days has seen an improvement in the reservoir level.
However, continuous rainfall is needed to normalise water supply in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, Tubui says that some areas of Lami and Tamavua may face disruptions to their water supply as major work is carried out on one of the Waimanu pumps.
He says work will start at 10am today and is expected to finish at 10pm Sunday resulting in low pressure or no water supply during these days.
The areas that will be affected include Delainavesi, Nadonumai, Upper Lami, Wailoku, Savura and Veisari.
