Expect more rain and flash floods in the next few weeks and a wet New Year is predicted for most parts of the country.
This is the warning from the Nadi Weather Director Rajendra Prasad who said that a trough of low pressure associated with rain and cloud is hanging far west of Fiji.
He said people will experience very wet, hot and humid weather conditions and heavy rain will see flooding of low lying areas, rivers and streams.
Prasad is also calling on people to be prepared as the lack of cyclone activity at this time is a serious concern.
