Expect more rain this afternoon and over the weekend with flash flooding of low-lying areas.
Weather Director Rajendra Prasad confirms that a trough of low pressure is sitting over the group and gets active in the afternoon causing more rain and thunderstorms.
He said the weather will start clearing from Sunday evening.
The weather office is calling on people living in the low lying areas to take extra precautions and move to higher ground if it continues raining for a prolonged period in their area.
