Netball Fiji will have to wait another month before they know whether New Zealand based coach Melissa Walker will sign on with them as Head Coach.

President Milika Munivai confirmed that they have met with Walker before she jetted out of the country today and she has advised them that she will need to discuss a few issues with her mother in New Zealand who is her manager before she will be able to sign the contract.

Munivai is confident that they will still be able to secure the services of Walker next month to start preparing the U-21 side for the World Cup in Cook Island next year.

Walker spent the past one month getting herself familiar with Netball Fiji and has expressed her willingness to be part of the side.

It is likely that she will be paid close to $80,000 under her contract.
