Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry has assured the northern business people that the interim government is trying its best to boost the northern economy.
Chaudhry who held talks with the business community in the northern community yesterday said that more assistance will be provided to the people to revive the economy.
Labasa Chamber of Commerce President Daya Ram told Village News that the business community is standing by to work with the interim government to bring about the changes.
Chaudhry is yet to comment on the matter.
