Morale is high in the Vodafone Fiji 7s camp as the side gears up for the 18th Wellington 7s tournament tomorrow.
Fiji has won only three Wellington 7s titles since it’s inception in 2000.
Fiji won the inaugural tournament in 2000 defeating New Zealand 24-14 in the final, the second tournament we won was in 2006 when Fiji beat South Africa 27-22 while 2010 the last time we won when Fiji defeated Samoa 19-14 in the Cup final.
Speaking from Wellington this morning, Fiji’s 7's Manager, Jone Niurua says the players cannot wait for tomorrow.
Niurua adds the players are well acclimatized to the Wellington weather.
The temperature in Wellington is 13 Degrees Celsius.
