Crowd favourites and former two time Tadra Kahani Champion Monfort Boys Town, last night walked away with four special awards as well as being declared the Senior Division 2nd runners up, at the finals of the Tadra Kahani at the Vodafone Arena.
Basing their performance on the theme "Stand against any violence against man, woman and children", students from Monfort boys town received the TFL special awards for best choreography, set design and staging, the SPR best lighting design and the Milo award for the best back stage crew.
The students portrayed their message and what happens when one turns a blind eye to any type of violence, and student representative Solomoni Lolohea said he is proud of how they performed last night.
Meanwhile, first runners up Suva Grammar School student representative Elenoa Matatolu said they came to Tadra Kahani with the theme "Parental Negligence" which showed the plight of a student who cried out to be noticed by her parents.
Matatolu said they hope that the parents will take note of the message that they portrayed last night.
Following three powerful days of students sharing their dream story of their hopes for a better society, Pacific Harbour Multi-Cultural School was last night declared the Junior Division Champions, while fellow first timers to Tadra Kahani, Lomary Secondary School beat ten other Schools to walk away with the Senior Division trophy.
