Fiji Electricity Authority chief executive officer said that the water level at the Monasavu Dam has now increased 10 metres above the critical line.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Hasmukh Patel confirmed this saying that the heavy downpour in the country has led to the improvement in the water level.
Patel also said that they do not anticipate any power sharing during the festive season.
However, he added that consumers need to preserve energy.
