World Rugby has announced that Monaco and Dublin will host the final rugby sevens qualification tournaments for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Eleven teams have so far qualified for the Rio Olympics men’s sevens competition next year.

This means that there is only one spot left.

The men’s teams that have qualified for Rio next year are Fiji, New Zealand, Brazil, Great Britain, Australia, South Africa, Japan, France, Kenya, Argentina and the United States.

The Great Britain Sevens team will have players from England, Wales and Scotland.

Monaco will host the men's tournament from the 18th to 19th of June while Dublin will host the women's qualification tournament on the 25th and 26th of June.

The 16 men's teams that will compete in Monaco are Uruguay, Chile, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Russia, Germany, Ireland, Hong Kong, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Tonga, Samoa, Zimbabwe, Morocco and Tunisia.

Meanwhile, the teams that have qualified for the Rio Olympics Women’s 7s competition are Fiji, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Colombia, United States, France and South Africa.

The Rio Olympic Games Sevens competition will be held from the 6th to the 8th of August next year.
