There are definitely mixed reactions from the public on fuel prices increasing from today.
Some of the people Fijivillage spoke to had different opinions, some saying the fuel increase is too expensive, some saying it is fare, some saying there is nothing that can be done about it, while others say now they will just park their cars at home and catch the bus.
Here's their opinions.
Unleaded fuel will now cost $2.12 a litre an increase of 12c while Diesel will now cost $1.76 a litre an increase of 9c.
Kerosene prices will also increase by 7c to $1.42 while Premix Outboard Fuel will now cost $2.04, an increase of 13c.
The PIB said this is all due to the increase in crude oil prices as a result of strong demand growth and tightened crude supply around the world.
