Fiji's Doctor Robin Mitchell has become the new president for Oceania National Olympic Committee.

Mitchell was elected unopposed in New Zealand last night after Kevan Gosper has retired as head of the Oceania regional committee after 20 years.

Mitchell today addressed the ONOC officials in Queenstown, who are there to attend the Annual General Assembly.

ONOC's Programmes Manager Dennis Miller who is also in Queenstown said Mitchell's appointment as ONOC president will really benefit Fiji.
