Wallabies winger Drew Mitchell is facing another extended stint on the sidelines after reinjuring his right ankle in Saturday night’s crushing 22-0 loss to New Zealand in Auckland.

Mitchell was forced from the field before half-time as the Bledisloe Cup slipped from Australia’s grasp for a 10th straight year, as they suffered a second successive Rugby Championship defeat to start their Tri Nations defence.

It is the first time in 50 years the All Blacks have kept the Wallabies to nil.

Meanwhile, in the other Championship match, South Africa and Argentina drew 16 all.
