The Police Search and Rescue team has managed to find the 51 year old woman and her 18 year old son near Naqara reef today after they were missing at sea from yesterday.

According to Police the two managed to swim to Naqara Island after their boat capsized.

Meanwhile, seven people are still missing at sea since yesterday afternoon.

The seven had left Suva for Lamiti in Gau and according to Police, at 10 o'clock last night they received a call from the people on board that they were experiencing engine problems and they were drifting near Koro sea.

Police could not contact them after that call.

Sergeant Tevita is calling on mariners and people living in coastal areas to look out for these people and should they have any information about them to contact their nearest Police station.
