There is some misconception with regards to what the Fiji Law Society is saying.
Attorney General Aiyaz Khaiyum said there is some misconception regarding the statement made by the President of the Fiji Law Society that the Law Society has been deregistered.
Khaiyum said the matter will be explained today with a press conference held this hour.
Meanwhile, Fiji Law Society President Dorsami Naidu said he has been informed that he will not be part of the Judicial Services Commission that appoints Judges adding he was also told that the Law Society will no longer issue practicing certificates to its members.
